Steven Quay, M.D., Ph.D., is a physician-scientist, entrepreneur, and founder and CEO of Atossa Therapeutics, a Seattle-based biopharmaceutical company developing novel therapeutics for the prevention and treatment of breast cancer. Across a career spanning oncology, infectious disease, medical imaging, and drug delivery, he has authored more than 400 scientific contributions, holds 96 U.S. patents, invented seven FDA-approved pharmaceuticals used by more than 80 million people, and has helped translate basic discoveries into practical medical applications. His current work focuses on cancer prevention, biotechnology innovation, and the responsible convergence of artificial intelligence and medicine to improve healthspan and reduce disease burden in aging populations.
