Prof. Antebi received his PhD in Biology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and performed his post-doctoral studies at the Johns Hopkins University. He is currently a Director at the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing, Cologne, Germany. Dr Antebi’s work has focused on dietary, metabolic and endocrine regulation of longevity from worms to verterbrates. His research seeks to decipher convergent mechanisms of longevity across pathways and evolution, using molecular and systems approaches.
